Stephen is a registered patent and trade marks attorney with a broad range of technical knowledge in the area of information technology.
Before joining Madderns in 2003, Stephen spent several years working as a software engineer in the defence industry, with a focus on real-time embedded systems. He was also involved in the development of database systems and wireless network applications.
Stephen has technical qualifications in both computer science and genetics. His areas of practice include internet-based network applications, digital signal processing and other software-related inventions, and he represents clients in a range of trade mark matters.
Outside of work, Stephen is a sports connoisseur and has been involved with football, gridiron, rowing and tennis at a variety of playing and coaching levels. He enjoys good food and wine, and also loves reading books. |
